I would like to show you three luxury living room projects. The first one is in a 1,200 sq. m. residence, the second in a 90 sq. m. apartment, and the last in a 200 sq. m. apartment. Each is unique!
PROJECT NUMBER 1: AN ELEGANT LIVING ROOM FULL OF GLAMOUR AND LIGHT
The living room is located in a residence of about 1,200 sq. m. One of the assumptions of the project was to create a comfortable, luxurious space, even stunning. There was supposed to be glamour, glitz, gold, and marbles. And so it is! I managed to meet the owner’s high expectations in terms of aesthetics and interior function. The living room is bright and luminous.
The sheer height of the room, which is open on two floors (it’s as high as 5 meters) with huge glazing and shiny gold lamps, is already impressive. Just as impressive is the fireplace made of natural marble slabs, into which I included a huge mirror decorating the living room like a painting.
Graphics on glass placed on the walls introduce a touch of color to the interior, enliven the entire space and provide an interesting play of perspective. In the living room, the floor is made of wood with a cozy, dark color, while in the adjoining hall and dining room we already have large-format tiles from Italian manufacturers, imitating finely vascularised or branched marbles. The range of marbles used, in different shades, makes the space cohesive with each other despite the diversity.
The high standard of finishing is visible here in good quality materials, refined shapes, and sophisticated details. I designed most of the elements specifically for this interior – from furniture, mirror compositions, and wall coverings with inserts of decorative metal slats, to unique floor coverings. I like such a creative process, because the result is always unique.
PROJECT NUMBER 2: A CLASSIC LIVING ROOM WITHOUT THE USUAL SCHEMES AND PATTERNS
The living room is located in a 90 sq. m. apartment. One of the main assumptions of the project was to create a richly decorated, classic interior with numerous elements that illuminate the space. The second – was to create a completely personalized space that not only met all the expectations of the owners but would also become unique. So I opted for rich ornamentation and arrangement details. All fixed furnishings, in turn, were custom-made.
The living room has an open character. It is connected to the dining room and kitchen in the form of an annex, which, although extremely elegant and representative, is only a background for the relaxation zone. At the heart of this space stood a blue sofa with velvet upholstery, on light chrome legs. It became a gem of the living zone, breaking the subdued color palette used in the interior.
The blue upholstery is reflected in the numerous mirrors, surrounding us from everywhere and reigning stately in this design.
Another unique element in the living room is the RTV cabinet made of natural onyx and aged mirror panes. The natural stone onyx has extraordinary translucent properties. Illuminated from underneath, it becomes another gem of this interior. In the open space of the apartment, there is also room for an elegant black desk, where the young owners can work.
The whole interior is complemented by gray furniture and textiles, as well as an original painting by Grażyna Grabowska, painted for this interior.
PROJECT NUMBER 3: LIVING ROOM IN THE CLOUDS ON 44 ZŁOTA STREET
The living room is located in a 200 sq. m. apartment. It is decorated in a modern style, which combines beautifully and in perfectly tailored proportions with classical elements. The space is surrounded by colors of warm beige and white with subtle shades of orange u and blue. However, there is also no shortage of darker, contrasting materials, which create a pleasant, slightly mysterious aura and absorb huge amounts of sunlight coming through the large windows.
The arrangement of the spacious living room impresses with its original forms. Many details have been custom-designed, such as intricate compositions of stone wall cladding and graphite beveled mirrors, or a striking wall of onyx illuminated from below. The grooved panel made of black MDF is also an interesting element. When designing this living room, I wanted to emphasize the biggest asset of this building, namely the beautiful view of the Warsaw skyline. To this end, mirrors were installed on the ceiling, the purpose of which is to reflect just the view outside the window. Thanks to this treatment, the interiors of the apartment are bright and luminous. The mirrors optically enlarge the already large spaces, which is very impressive.
Light is very important in the living room. Not only the daily one but also artificial lighting. The most interesting decoration is the lighting on the background of the ceiling made of a mirror. This lamp is the work of the company Preciosa, which specializes in creating lamps made of glass in an original style. It perfectly matches the comfortable sofas by Medea in a warm beige color. Their design combines classic Chesterfield quilting, with modern forms. The whole is extremely soft and invites you to rest comfortably.
